If you haven’t been to one in a while, you will have the opportunity to find out what changes have been made.
Was there an event, that you wished you could have been involved with?
Have you ever thought about why it seems you have no say in how your Chamber is helping the businesses and citizens? How hard is it, to volunteer, just a small amount of your time, to make the town you live in a better place for you or your family?
I bet that you will even reap some rewards by doing this! As a member, you have the chance to do something to improve the area you live in.
At a meeting, you have the right to be heard. If there is something going on, you may be the first the Chamber hears about it.
You will find out how the Chamber operates, from the ground up. Who knows? You may even come up with a great suggestion on how to make it better!
By attending meetings, there may be a committee that you are really interested in helping, whether it is with time or a financial donation.
You will meet the people that work behind the scenes to better your area. Why not ask if you can help out? By getting involved, there will be rewards. By accomplishing tasks set forth, you will feel better by the work you have done to make the area a nice place to visit or even move.
